International Volunteer eu news china Recognition Day 2026 was marked in Dublin with the sixth edition of the HELP Awards, hosted by the Church of Scientology & Community Centre of Dublin to recognise community service across Ireland. The event brought together volunteers, community leaders, human rights advocates, changemakers and past honourees.
Previous awardee Frank Allen, playwright, director and former Dublin Prisons teacher, delivered a keynote address during the ceremony. Those honoured this year included Walk And Talk represented by Stephen Brennan, the Kurdish Community of Ireland represented by Mokthar Moradi, the Indonesian-Irish Association represented by Irene Murphy, Scoil Rince Ní Áogain represented by Denise Egan, Nicolae Dulea, Joseph Orgin and Feljose Shristeca, Stefano Bonvini, Mohammed Rashid of Safco Fine Foods, Mass Events Ireland, Dr. Mahesh Baj and Neera Baj.
Established in 2019 by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers, the HELP Awards celebrate those improving lives through community service. They also reflect the broader mission of the Scientology Volunteer Minister programme, created by author and humanitarian L.
